RocketBody has released a new sports app on Product Hunt, as the startup’s CEO Timofei Lipsky shared on his Facebook page.
«We’ve launched a brand new app on Product Hunt. The idea is the same: personalized workouts to match your metabolism at any place and at any time, ” wrote Lipsky.
The app is available on the App Store and should make its way to Google Play later this year.
RocketBody has also raised $1 million from Gagarin Capital and AltaIR Capital. The funds will be spent on improving customer experience and testing a monetization model for the app. Judging by Lipsky’s comments on dev.by, the deal took place several months ago. However, he refused to provide any details.
Last year, RocketBody published «the first sports app» for Apple Watch based on EKG readings. Timofei Lipsky claims the startup is now valued at $10 million, which means its market cap has skyrocketed 10 times in 18 months. According to Rusbase, RocketBody is worth $5 million following the recent investment from Gagarin Capital and AltaIR Capital.
